  • 3 Tbsp sour cream Adds moisture and richness.
  • 2 Tbsp ranch dressing mix Enhances flavor; use store-bought or homemade.
  • cup cooked and crumbled bacon For added flavor and texture.

Burger Assembly
  • Hamburger buns Fresh or toasted for better texture.
  • Lettuce For freshness and crunch.
  • Tomato Sliced for topping.
  • Mustard For tanginess.
  • Mayo Recommended for topping.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground chuck, sour cream, ranch dressing mix, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until well combined, but do not overmix.
  2. Form the mixture into 6 hamburger patties, pressing a small dimple in the center to prevent puffing.
Cooking
  1. Grill the patties over medium heat to your desired doneness. Avoid pressing down on the patties to keep them moist.
  2. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness: 130-135°F for medium-rare, 140-145°F for medium, and 160°F for well-done.
  3. Let the burgers rest for a few minutes before serving.
Serving
  1. Serve the burgers hot on fresh hamburger buns with toppings like lettuce, tomato, mustard, and mayo. Allow guests to customize their burgers.
