Ingredients
  

For the Tacos
  • 4 pieces Waffle cones or plain taco shells Sugar cones can be used for a sweeter shell.
  • 2 cups Vanilla ice cream Shop-brand or homemade ice cream works.
For the Coating
  • 1 cup Chocolate chips For melting and coating.
  • 1 tablespoon Coconut oil Helps achieve a nice texture for the chocolate coating.
For the Toppings
  • 1 cup Chopped nuts, sprinkles, or crushed cookies For added texture and flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Gently warm the waffle cones in the microwave for about 10 seconds to soften them.
  2. Carefully mold the softened cones into a taco shape and allow them to cool.
  3. Scoop vanilla ice cream into the taco shells, smoothing over the open side.
  4. Place the filled tacos on a tray and freeze until solid, about 30 minutes.
Coating
  1. Melt the chocolate chips with coconut oil until smooth.
  2. Dip the tops of the ice cream tacos into the chocolate mixture and add nuts or sprinkles as desired.
  3. Return the dipped tacos to the freezer for at least 20 minutes to set.
