Louisiana Rub Wingstop

  • Author: Helena

Description

Let’s bring a little Louisiana heat to your table! These wings are bold, zesty, and utterly finger-lickin’ good. 🌶️🍗

Ingredients

Scale

Dry Rub:

  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp white pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp kosher salt

Wings:

  • 2 lbs chicken wings (drumettes and flats, trimmed)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Prep the Wings: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Pat the wings dry with a paper towel and toss them in olive oil until evenly coated.
  2. Mix the Magic: Combine all the dry rub ingredients in a bowl. Mix well to create that flavorful Louisiana rub.
  3. Rub It In: Coat the wings generously with the spice mix, ensuring every inch gets that bold kick.
  4. Cook It Up:
    • Oven: Arrange the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a wire rack. Bake for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden.
    • Air Fryer: Place wings in a single layer and cook for 20–25 minutes, shaking the basket halfway for even crispiness.
  5. Serve Hot: Pull those wings out, let them cool slightly, and dig in while they’re still hot and spicy!
